Noteworthy News, July 31st, 2020

Summer Break from our "rehearsal" routine doesn't necessarily mean that there's nothing happening. Planning continues for the re-positioned Summer Sings which becomes September Sings this year. Dates will be Monday evenings, September 14 and 21 at our usual rehearsal times. More details are promised to be announced soon.

Speaking of links, as promised, all of the materials from the Annual Meeting are now available on the Members page of our website (pschor.org) under the Member Documents tile including the recording of the entire meeting (1:17:34) and the document listing our planned season(s).

From Wendy: Thank you for sending in your recordings for Lift Every Voice and Sing. I know recording yourself at home is not easy and I so appreciate the investment of your time and talent. All of the recordings I received were excellent -- love your sound, expression, and accuracy. Our AV producer is hard at work editing the project and it will premiere August 28 to align with the 2020 March on Washington DC. As mentioned, the video will also include a donate button and all net proceeds will go to Don’t Shoot Portland https://www.dontshootpdx.org. Thank you for being a choir willing to use your voices for this important work.

Upcoming Choral (musical) events of Note: The Shows Must Go On series is taking a summer break until August when they promise to re-release some classic Broadway shows.
